GCC 2.95.4 (Based on Debian GCC 2.95.4.ds15-27) ================================================ This is port of recent Debian release of GCC 2.95.4 for MorphOS system. Please note that this is not official GCC release (Latest official one is 2.95.3) This work is higly based on previous GCC for MorphOS made by Emm/CISC/Zapek without they work this port will never exist. Big ThX for their great work ! If you are interested about changes made in this release just take a look at http://packages.qa.debian.org/gcc-2.95 Installation ============= Generaly depack this archive to gg: directory should be enough. If you have any problem with installing it just contact with me. You can use both compilers (2.95.3 and 2.95.4) at the same time, but if you have libstdc++.a in gg:lib you need to move gg:lib/libb32/libstdc++.a and gg:lib/libstdc++.a to gg:lib/ppc-morphos-/2.95.3/ (Do not forget to adjust links to moved libraries) History: ========= -1: Initial release -2: libgcc.a fixed and updated -3: experimental -4: merged the AltiVec version some external patches and fixes fixed some linker problems inside libstdc++ -5: synced with latest morphos diffs from MDC -6: funny no one noticed previous version was borked :) i include some wrong files by mistake -7: Disabled altivec code generation. GCC can in some cases generate broken code for MorphOS 1.4.x that doesn't have AltiVec support. Notes: ======= Please note that it's a unofficial compilation. Do not contact with Debian support or any MorphOS developer in case of any problems. You can try to send a mail to me and we will see what can be done. -4/-5 propably brokes the install.sh script. Sorry I have no time to fix it, if you want you need to install it by hand. Contact: ========= Marcin 'Morgoth' Kurek
